BIT Polytechnic organized an industrial visit to KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation), Seetangoli, for students of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering on 24 January 2026, as part of the academic curriculum.

The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to industrial environments and modern infrastructure while bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. Officials from KINFRA introduced students to the role of the industrial park in supporting industrial growth, infrastructure development, and entrepreneurship.

Students were guided through various industrial units, where they observed manufacturing processes, machinery operations, quality control practices, and maintenance activities. Emphasis was placed on industrial safety, discipline, and compliance with standards, along with the growing role of technology and computer applications in industrial operations and management.

Interactions with industry professionals offered students valuable insights into workplace expectations, career opportunities, and professional ethics. The visit enhanced students’ technical understanding, confidence, and awareness of industry-oriented practices.

BIT Polytechnic extends its sincere gratitude to the officials and staff of KINFRA Seetangoli for their cooperation and support in making the visit a meaningful learning experience.
