Green Building Week 2025: Inspiring Young Minds on Water Conservation

As part of World Green Building Week 2025, 1st-year CSE students of BIT Polytechnic organized an awareness program at Govt Primary School, Newpadpu, on 12 September 2025, focusing on water conservation and sustainable development.

The program featured an engaging awareness session on green building concepts, complemented by drawing & craft activities and a mime show, helping young students understand the importance of conserving water through creative expression.

Primary school students participated with enthusiasm, demonstrating curiosity, creativity, and a growing awareness of environmental responsibility. The initiative successfully instilled eco-friendly values and highlighted how saving water contributes to a more sustainable future.

This outreach reflects BIT Polytechnic students’ commitment to community engagement and sustainability education, inspiring young minds to adopt responsible practices for a greener tomorrow.
