Industry Interaction on Cybersecurity at EyeQ Dot Net Pvt. Ltd.

Students of BIT Polytechnic visited EyeQ Dot Net Pvt. Ltd., Mangalore, on 22 July 2025 for an industry interaction session on Cybersecurity. The session provided valuable insights into the growing importance of protecting digital systems and data in today’s technology-driven world.

EyeQ Dot Net Pvt. Ltd., a cybersecurity and IT infrastructure security company, shared real-world perspectives on cyber threats and the tools used to prevent them, including firewalls, encryption, antivirus solutions, and secure authentication methods. Practical examples helped students understand how cyberattacks occur and how they can be effectively mitigated.

The session also guided students on career opportunities in cybersecurity, highlighting essential skills, learning platforms, industry tools, and globally recognized certifications. Key roles such as Security Analyst, Ethical Hacker, and Security Engineer were discussed, offering clarity on career pathways in this rapidly growing field.
