Manipal Skill Development Centre Conducted Technical Session at BIT Polytechnic

A special technical session was organized for the Mechanical Engineering students of BIT Polytechnic on 11 March 2026 by experts from the Manipal Skill Development Centre (MSDC). The session aimed to introduce students to modern skill-based training programs and emerging industry technologies.

The session was conducted by Dr. Krishma, Mr. Hithendar, and Dr. Anjayya, who shared valuable insights on the growing importance of skill-based education in today’s engineering industry.

During the session, the resource persons highlighted key technological areas such as Automation, Robotics, Electric Vehicles (EV), Internet of Things (IoT), and Advanced Manufacturing. They also introduced students to various training, internship, and certification programs offered by MSDC that help enhance technical competencies and improve employability.

Students actively interacted with the speakers and sought guidance on career opportunities, higher studies, and industry-oriented technical training after completing their diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

The session proved to be highly informative and motivating, encouraging students to strengthen their practical skills and explore advanced training opportunities to become industry-ready professionals.
