Scholarship schemes

BIT Polytechnic offers up to 100% concession in fees to deserving students. These include students who are economically deprived and those who excel in sports, NCC, NSS and other extracurricular activities. Meritorious students will also be eligible for suitable scholarships. Those with CET rankings less than 1000 will be provided with 100% exemption from fees while those with rankings less than 5000 will be eligible for concessions up to 50% in fees. BIT Polytechnic also conducts its own talent hunt tests wherein students meeting the specified qualification are offered handsome concessions in fee.

Merit Cum Means (SSP – GOK)

Eligibility: Minority students (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi), ≥50% marks, family income ≤ ₹2.5 lakh

Support: Scholarship for fees

Vidyasiri (Food & Accommodation)

Eligibility: SC/ST/OBC/Minority students, income: SC/ST ≤ ₹2.5 lakh; OBC/Minorities ≤ ₹1 lakh

Support: Hostel & food allowance

Post Matric Scholarship (SC/ST – SSP)

Eligibility: SC/ST students, family income ≤ ₹2.5 lakh

Support: Tuition & exam fee scholarship

Karnataka ePASS

Eligibility: OBC/SC/ST/Minority, income: Cat-I ≤ ₹2.5 lakh, others ≤ ₹1 lakh

Support: Fee reimbursement
