Sports Day 2025: Celebrating Team Spirit and Sportsmanship

BIT Polytechnic Sports Meet 2025 was successfully conducted over three days from 26 to 28 June 2025, witnessing enthusiastic participation, healthy competition, and exemplary sportsmanship from students across all departments.

The event was formally inaugurated by Prof. Prithviraj M., Principal, who highlighted the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline in student life. Following the opening ceremony and parade, students took the Athletes’ Oath, pledging to compete with integrity and fairness.

A wide range of indoor and outdoor sports events were organized for both boys and girls, including cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, shot put, chess, carrom, and ludo. Students showcased remarkable skill, coordination, and team spirit throughout the competitions.

At the conclusion of the meet, 1st Year Mechanical Engineering (Boys) and 2nd Year Computer Science Engineering (Girls) emerged as the Overall Champions, earning the Sports Day Trophy for their consistent and outstanding performances.

The Sports Meet 2025 stood as a celebration of athletic excellence, unity, and perseverance. BIT Polytechnic applauds all participants for their enthusiasm and looks forward to an even more spirited Sports Day in the coming years.
